Troubleshooting
Issue: Charts not loading
Symptoms: Analytics page shows loading or error.
Solutions:
- Refresh the page
- Check internet connection
- Try a different browser
- Clear browser cache
Issue: "No data to display" message
Symptoms: Page shows empty state with no charts.
Solutions:
- Check if survey has any responses
- Verify filters are not too restrictive
- Ensure survey has chartable question types (radio, checkbox, slider, number, NPS, mood)
Issue: Metrics seem wrong
Symptoms: Numbers do not match expectations.
Solutions:
- Check date range filter
- Verify status filter (complete vs. all)
- Review what counts as complete vs. incomplete
- Check if source filter is limiting results
Issue: Missing responses in charts
Symptoms: Some responses not appearing.
Solutions:
- Check filters are not excluding them
- Verify responses are completed (default filter shows only complete)
- Check date range includes them
- Set status filter to "All" to see everything
Best Practices
- Check analytics regularly - During active data collection
- Use filters - Focus on relevant segments
- Compare panel sources - When using multiple recruitment platforms
- Monitor completion rate - Low rates may indicate survey issues
- Review screened out count - High numbers may need screen-out criteria review
